How We Plan Non-Surgical Treatments
Non-surgical results are shaped by the plan, not just the product. During
your consultation, we take a structured approach so recommendations match
your anatomy, your preferences, and your timeline.
-
Health & Treatment History: We review your medical history, medications, allergies, and any previous
cosmetic treatments to guide product selection, timing, and aftercare.
-
Facial & Skin Assessment: We look at facial structure, movement patterns, and skin quality to understand
where treatment should be focused.
-
Plan & Expectations: You’ll receive a clear recommendation for treatment type, placement
approach, and what the result is intended to improve, including how changes
typically develop.
-
Costs & What Affects Pricing: We review how pricing is set for the treatments you’re considering,
and what your total may be based on your plan.
-
Timing & Maintenance: We discuss scheduling around travel, photos, or major events, and outline
what maintenance may look like if you want ongoing care.
-
Questions & Next Steps: You’ll have time to compare options, talk through tradeoffs, and
decide whether to treat that day or schedule for another time.
What to Expect During & After Your Appointment
Most non-surgical appointments are quick and comfortable. Here’s
what you can expect during your visit and in the day or two afterward.
-
Time in Office: Most appointments are straightforward and often take under an hour, depending
on the plan and whether you’re combining services.
-
Before Treatment: We clean the treatment area, review the plan one more time, and answer
any last-minute questions so you know what’s happening and why.
-
During Treatment: Injectables are often felt as quick pinches or pressure. SkinPen®
Microneedling can feel scratchy and warm. Sensations vary by area, and
comfort measures may be used when appropriate.
-
Right After: You may have temporary redness, tenderness, mild swelling, or small areas
of bruising with injectables. With microneedling, redness and a sunburn-like
warmth are common for a short period.
-
Later that Day & the Next: Swelling and redness typically ease. After microneedling, dryness or
light flaking can occur as the skin recovers.
-
Aftercare: You’ll leave with clear instructions on what to avoid, when to
restart skincare and exercise, and how to reach the office if you have
questions during recovery.
